Hello, all! It’s been a while. My sincerest apologies for that–your already scatterbrained admin has been steamrolled by the time-sucking event called “a semester in graduate school.” We do have a few releases today, which are courtesy of the wonderful staff that has yet to bail on me despite my total lack of organization over the last few months. *guilty*

So yes, the letter of the day is “C.” What else does it stand for? Caffeine, of course, which is obviously chapter 14 of Coffee Time. And also for “carp banners,” otherwise known as chapter 8 of Love So Life. Enjoy!

And just as a general status update tacked onto a release post… We’re still here. Nothing is officially dropped yet, at least not until I can get everything together and assess where it’s all at in a few weeks, which is when summer vacation starts. And before dropping any series that isn’t already being worked on by another team, I’ll be sure to make a post asking for people interested in joining just to work on those projects. So don’t panic.

There are days when, I must admit, I fear for the safety of the adorable twins of Love So Life. Not just because of the fangirls, but because there have to be random crazies out there who would love to kidnap the cutest kids ever in the cutest animal outfits ever. Or maybe those two groups of people are the same? We also have a new series starting today called My Hero, which is also adorable and happy. No need for angst and drama when you can have this much fluff!

Love So Life Chapter 7 — Twins + guinea pigs = adorability
My Hero! Chapter 1 — I knew about foot fetishes, sure, but I hadn’t heard of that before!

What, you thought we died or something? Psh! You won’t get rid of us that easily, I can guarantee it. In celebration of the day before the day when chocolate is half off everywhere (AKA Valentine’s Day), we’ve got three lovely releases for you.

Aozora Yell Chapter 7 — I love it when older characters just know about the two main characters. Get the hint, guys!
Love So Life Chapter 6 — This Valentine’s Day, say it with toilet paper! On second thought–don’t. And yes, this is a Valentine’s-themed chapter.
Ten no Ryuu Chapter 14 — Yeah, it’s hard to come up with something upbeat with a chapter this serious… But it is sweet.

New Year’s, Day Three

Well, we’ve come to the end of our little semi-marathon of releases, a few days later than intended, but I hope you’ve enjoyed it. It’s kind of corny to say, but I (and the staff) have enjoyed this last year, both ups and downs, and we’re looking forward to seeing all of you in the months to come!

Love So Life Chapter 5 — Yes, two chapters of Love So Life just days apart! Don’t you feel loved?
Ten no Ryuu*Chi no Sakura Chapter 13 — Aww, poor Sakura… *sniff* As for Yoiyami, he brought it on himself! *harumph* Only two more chapters to go now, too.

New Year’s, Day Two

Woohoo! Happy New Year, everyone. We’re onto day two of the celebration, which will actually go on until tomorrow because, again, someone procrastinated. In directly-related news, we’re in need of translators and quality-checkers, so please apply if you feel you might be interested.

Migawari Hakushaku no Bouken, Chapter 1 — A new year, and a new manga… Richard has caused cases of swooning and fainting in a few of our female staffers.
Mikansei na Bokutachi, Koiiro Dayori — More Yoshimi Touda one-shot goodness. No Richard, but it’s still cute!

New Year’s, Day One

It’s that time of the year again–time for fireworks, resolutions that will never be kept, and (of course) manga releases! Originally I was going to release a giant batch today, but then I realized I could spread the fun out over two days. Or, y’know, someone procrastinated and was lazy and didn’t get everything ready for today. And by someone, I mean the obvious option (me).

H Chapter 22 — I never know what to say about this series… “Drama!” about sums it up, I guess!
Love So Life Chapter 4 — The fact that Matsunaga-san has those outfits would be weird if the end result wasn’t so darn adorable.

Study Break

It’s that time of the year for those of us in school–time for finals and papers. Meh. But what’s a better reward for serious studying than a nice little study break with manga? I’m sure you will all go right back to studying after you finish reading it. Just like I will. *shifty eyes* Right? *cough* Anyways. Onward to the releases, and good luck to those of you with finals on the horizon!

Love So Life Chapter 3 — Since this is a Christmas-themed chapter, I could’ve waited until Christmas to release it. But I’m not that evil. Plus, it’s too cute a chapter to not release now!
Hoshi no Oujo Chapter 4 — No Christmas here… Just lots of flower petals and dramatic cliffhangers.

Shoujo Overload

Embarrassing as it is to say, I’ve never really realized just how much shoujo we do here. Sure, we’ve expanded lately, but pretty much everything is shoujo–and fluffy shoujo at that. Our releases today are some prime examples of this fluffiness, and are all some of my favorite series. Not sure what that says about me and my manga tastes, but I don’t think I care. Enjoy!

Aozora Yell 6 — Eep. Hopefully it was worth the wait.
Ten no Ryuu 12 — Student/teacher in my Ten no Ryuu? If you insist.
Tonari no Atashi 4 — The first volume comes to an end! And… Aww. Poor Yuiko.

Okay, so it doesn’t have quite the same ring to it as “Friday the 13th,” but that’s what happens when you don’t start trying to release until late at night. Doing so also saps me of my creativity, so let me just say… We’re always hiring! We’ve got a nice batch of releases for you, though, so please enjoy:

Ginban Kaleidoscope: Chapter 3
Sengoku Danshi Hana no Ran: Chapter 2
Nodame Cantabile: Chapters 132-133

The same deal as before with Nodame; it’s an IRC-only release. And yes, Ginban has returned, thanks to the efforts of a new translator who has come on board and revived the project (thank you, Yumiko!). So do shower her with your appreciation if you’ve been waiting for it.
